About Us

Public Trust Institute is a non-profit organization created to restore transparency, ethics and honesty in American leadership.

What We Believe

In the United States, public trust in government is at historic low levels.   Only 19% of Americans today say they can trust government to do what is right. The erosion of public trust is accelerated by constant reports of U.S. federal and state officials who have acted unethically.

Public Trust Institute (PTI) was founded to help restore public trust in American leadership.  PTI monitors federal and state activities and holds officials accountable for ethical abuses.

PTI will hold public officials accountable to work for the benefit of the people in accordance with the principles of ethical government established by the U.S. Constitution.
